FAQs
How long does it take to produce the canvas or acrylic?
Please allow a lead time of 8/10 working days plus despatch.

What sort of quality should I expect?
You will receive a gallery standard artwork.

Will my photo be good enough to enlarge to the size I want?
There are various factors that determine whether a photo will successfully enlarge to a certain size. Most modern digital cameras are capable of producing fairly good results when enlarged. Ideally, the resolution of your digital image needs to be a minimum of 300 dpi for a normal 4 x 6 print allowing us to enlarge it and still maintain excellent print quality at actual size. In some cases, we can work with lower resolution. If you have no idea about the image resolution, send it and we'll have a look. We are always happy to check your photo beforehand and we would advise you if it wouldn’t look good enlarged.

Does the image wrap around the sides of the frame?

Our standard practice is to ‘gallery wrap’ extending the image around the frame. However, if you prefer, the sides may be left plain canvas or printed a colour of your choice. We can extend an image where necessary to create extra for the wrap so that nothing vital is missing from the front face. This will look natural and will not stretch or distort your image in any way. Proofs may be e-mailed before printing, if required.

We cannot guarantee this as individual screen settings can vary. If you would like us to match a particular colour please e-mail us for more information.

Do you retouch the photos?

Can you make a colour photo black and white or sepia on canvas?
